How Many Resurrections Can We Expect?

There are at least four different resurrections spoken of in the Bible.

I.The resurrection of Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 15:20-23

A. Every Sunday commemorates the resurrection.  Mark 16:9-11; Acts 20:7

B. The O.T. Feast of Firstfruits was a picture of Christ’s resurrection. Leviticus 23:9-14

II. The resurrection of N.T. believers at the Rapture I Thessalonians 4:13-17

III. The resurrection of Israel, O.T. saints, & tribulation martyrs

IV.  The resurrection of the unsaved dead at the close of the Millennium

John 5:28- 29, Revelation 20:5-7, Revelation 20:11-12, Revelation 20:14-15, Daniel 12:2
