Why Happiness Inevitably Eludes Us
The early American author, Nathaniel Hawthorne (1804-1864) said, “Happiness is a butterfly, which, when pursued, is always just beyond your grasp, but which, if you will sit down quietly, may alight upon you.”
What about happiness? Isn’t it what everybody wants? Would it surprise you if I told you that I don’t believe God necessarily wants it for you? He recommends something better to His children and we will be examining what He says about it today in His Word!
