Saturday the 31st from 6-8:30pm we are having the second GBC Cardboard Boat Build-off. Parents are invited to watch or participate. There will be two college and career teams and two teenager teams, and maybe a parents team. The goal is to build a boat using cardboard, duct tape, and saran wrap to get two people across our back pond. Bring whatever supplies you need and get ready to have a blast. There will be a big slip and slide as well so be prepared to get wet.
Afterward we will practice a special music song for the following Sunday for the Teen/College and Career Service in the evening. We are singing “Lord, I need you” out of the wilds songbooks.

There are so many events going on at Grace during the summer that it’s almost impossible to be at all of them. Many activities are specifically for different parts of the church family.
Yet we want the whole church family to be able to experience the fun and excitement of what God is doing in the lives of everyone from senior saints to bus kids, from the college & career group to the whole church.
Here are some video clips from recent activities at Grace this summer:

This Sunday Grace Baptist Church celebrated our nation’s independence with a dramatic presentation, special music and a cookout on the grounds.
After the morning service, members and visitors enjoyed a cookout on the grounds in the gym. In the 1:30 afternoon service, special guests Ben and Sarah Kilcup from South Carolina presented patriotic music and testimonies.
Ben graduated with honors with a degree in church music from Northland Baptist Bible College and completed a master’s degree in church music from Bob Jones. He did a music internship at Calvary Baptist Church in Watertown, WI and has served as a music assistant at Agnew Road Baptist Church in SC. Sarah graduated from Northland with a degree in missions and a minor in music.
Following their presentation, the church voted overwhelmingly (95% in favor) to call Ben as Assistant Pastor of Music and Youth.
